Piano exam

A couple of weeks ago we had a Royal Conservatory Piano Exam - grade 3.

As usual, nerves rumbled, legs quaked.

Some of us stayed calmer than others.

But hey, we need those kind of people to keep us grounded in what life is really all about.

And anyway, isn't this a beautiful spot for a piano exam?

On a side note - my husband and I had our wedding pictures taken here, 12 years ago, when the last thing on our minds was a piano exam.

Dear Tristan, you've had the whole year to prepare for this exam; if you haven't learned it by now....

See, there's a purpose behind the daily nagging to "practice your piano."
